Your hosted applications
The information your application collects from its users is different from the contact information Thinkanet receives to administer your service. Your role, Thinkanet’s role, and each party’s obligations depend on the actual processing and agreement. The customer must determine whether its planned use requires a data processing agreement or additional safeguards.
Information to discuss
Before placing personal data in a hosted workload, tell us the intended use, data categories, relevant jurisdictions, preferred location, access requirements, and retention or deletion needs. Do not send the underlying personal data as part of an initial enquiry.
Written arrangements
If your use requires a data processing agreement, agree it before the relevant processing begins. It should address instructions, access and confidentiality, security responsibilities, subprocessors, incident communications, assistance with individual rights, deletion or return, and any required transfer safeguards.
